Exiting through the side door of my studio, I step onto a fully functional extreme backyard golf course. I began this project back in 1998 after purchasing a sack of bent grass from a friend of mine, Alphonsis Hutchings who is in the process of building an 18-hole golf course at Gros Morne Resort here in western Newfoundland.

A complete 18-hole game plus numerous practice drills can be played on my backyard course. We can use any scorecard from any course to keep score.

I'll put my reputation on the line as having the roughest and toughest extreme backyard fairway and real golf green in Newfoundland and Labrador, if not in Canada or even the whole world for that matter.

We will be targeting a major golf celebrity each summer to play at the Port Au Choix Invitational Open.
